Who This Notice Is For

This notice explains how Movie Makers Club uses personal information from parents, carers and children for the Summer Holiday Workshops 2026 near Nunhead, New Cross and Telegraph Hill.

Information We Collect

  • Parent or carer name, email address and phone number.
  • Child name, preferred name, age and date of birth.
  • Emergency contact and authorised collection details.
  • Medical, allergy, SEND, access or support information shared by parents or carers.
  • Workshop dates booked, attendance notes and relevant incident or safeguarding records.
  • Photography, film, voice and creative work permissions.
  • Priority Booking List details if you choose to join the list.

Why We Use This Information

  • To manage bookings and contact parents about workshop arrangements.
  • To run the workshops safely and provide appropriate supervision.
  • To respond to medical, allergy, emergency, safeguarding or welfare needs.
  • To manage drop-off, collection and authorised adults.
  • To share finished films or creative work where permission has been given.
  • To send booking updates to people who join the Priority Booking List.

Our Lawful Reasons For Using Information

We use booking and contact information to provide the workshop you have booked. We use health, emergency, attendance and safeguarding information where needed to keep children safe, meet responsibilities of care, respond to emergencies and keep appropriate records.

We rely on consent for optional uses such as marketing updates and sharing identifiable images, voices or creative work beyond the workshop group.

Who We Share Information With

Information is only shared where it is needed to run the workshops, keep children safe, meet legal or insurance responsibilities, or respond to a concern.

  • Workshop staff or helpers who need the information for the session.
  • Emergency, medical, safeguarding or welfare professionals where necessary.
  • The venue, insurers or legal advisers where relevant to an incident, complaint or claim.
  • Ticket Tailor and Google Forms as service providers used for bookings and registration.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the reason it was collected. Routine workshop registration information is reviewed after the summer workshop series. Accident, incident, safeguarding, complaint or insurance-related records may need to be kept longer.

Media permissions can be changed by contacting us. If permission is withdrawn, we will stop new uses of identifiable images, voices or creative work wherever practical.

Your Choices And Rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold, subject to any legal, safeguarding or insurance reasons that require us to keep it. You can also opt out of marketing updates or change media permissions at any time.
